Itinerary

 

Day 1 : Agadir Arrival

Upon your arrival in Agadir, you’ll be greeted by your tour guide who will assist you with transportation to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have some leisure time to settle in and explore the city’s beachfront promenade or relax at your hotel. In the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner at a local restaurant, where you can sample traditional dishes and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Agadir.

 

­Day 2 :Agadir city guided tour

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a guided tour of Agadir, discovering the city’s highlights and cultural landmarks. Your tour may include visits to the historic Agadir Kasbah, offering panoramic views of the city and coastline, as well as the bustling Souk El Had, where you can browse for souvenirs and local handicrafts. Alternatively, you can opt to spend the day relaxing on Agadir’s pristine beaches or exploring the city’s vibrant markets and cafes at your own pace.

 

Day 3 :Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Taznakht – Ait Benhaddou

Today, you’ll depart from Agadir and embark on a scenic journey through the picturesque landscapes of southern Morocco. Your first stop will be Taroudant, known for its ancient city walls and bustling souks. Continuing your journey, you’ll pass through Taliouine, renowned for its saffron production, and Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets and rugs. Finally, you’ll arrive at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and iconic kasbah, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by centuries of history and culture.

 

Day 4 :  Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges

After breakfast, you’ll explore the ancient streets and crumbling mud-brick buildings of Ait Benhaddou, marveling at its architectural splendor and historical significance. From there, you’ll journey to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” where you’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios. Continuing your adventure, you’ll travel through the stunning Valley of Roses, with its fragrant rose fields and traditional Berber villages, before reaching the dramatic Dades Gorges, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by towering cliffs and breathtaking scenery.

 

Day 5 :Dades – Todgha – Merzouga Desert

Today’s journey will take you through some of Morocco’s most spectacular natural landscapes. After breakfast, you’ll explore the rugged beauty of the Dades Gorges, with its winding roads and dramatic rock formations. Continuing on, you’ll visit the Todgha Gorges, where sheer limestone cliffs tower above a lush river valley. Finally, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel trek into the heart of the Sahara Desert, spending the night under the stars at a traditional desert camp.

 

Day 6 : Merzouga Desert – Midelt

As the sun rises over the dunes, you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber breakfast before departing from Merzouga and continuing your journey northwards. Passing through picturesque desert landscapes and fertile valleys, you’ll arrive in Midelt, a charming town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the town’s bustling souks, sample delicious local cuisine, and admire the stunning scenery that surrounds it.

 

­Day 7 :Midelt – Fes

 

Today, you’ll journey towards the imperial city of Fes, passing through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains along the way. En route, you’ll have the chance to stop at picturesque viewpoints and charming villages, soaking in the breathtaking scenery of the Moroccan countryside. Upon arriving in Fes, you’ll check into your accommodation and have the remainder of the day to relax and explore the city at your leisure.

 

Day 8 :Fes Medina Guided Tour

Today’s highlight is a guided tour of the Fes Medina, one of the largest and best-preserved medieval cities in the world. Your tour will take you through the labyrinthine streets of the Medina, where you’ll discover hidden gems such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, and the famous tanneries of Fes. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the bustling souks, where you can shop for traditional handicrafts, spices, and textiles, before enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner in the evening.

 

Day 9 :Fes – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to Fes and continue your journey towards Chefchaouen, known for its distinctive blue-washed buildings and tranquil atmosphere. Along the way, you’ll pass through scenic landscapes, including rolling hills, fertile valleys, and rugged coastlines. Upon arriving in Chefchaouen, you’ll have the remainder of the day to explore the town at your leisure, soaking in its laid-back vibe and admiring its charming architecture.

 

Day 10 :Chefchaouen – Tangier

 

Today, you’ll depart from Chefchaouen and head towards Tangier, a vibrant port city located on the Strait of Gibraltar. Along the way, you’ll pass through picturesque landscapes, including rolling hills and coastal cliffs. Upon arriving in Tangier, you’ll check into your accommodation and have the remainder of the day to explore the city’s historic medina, bustling souks, and picturesque waterfront, before enjoying a farewell dinner in the evening. While you’re in Tangier don’t miss visiting the iconic landmarks such as the Kasbah Museum or the Caves of Hercules

 

Day 11 : Tangier Departure

Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time to explore Tangier further, perhaps visiting iconic landmarks such as the Kasbah Museum or the Caves of Hercules. Your tour guide will accompany you to the airport or train station for your departure, assisting with any necessary arrangements and ensuring a smooth transition. As you bid farewell to Morocco, you’ll take with you unforgettable memories of a journey filled with cultural immersion, breathtaking scenery, and authentic Moroccan hospitality.
Accommodation
Unless a specific accommodation is requested, we reserve or recommend the best different authentic stays from the most quintessentially Moroccan accommodation available, reasonably priced, charming hotels/Riads in the Medina to the Kasbahs and Bedouin style tents in the Sahara desert with private bath, hot water, good service, value and sustainable management practices. Accommodation is based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room. Desert Camp feature full size walk-in tents for two or more persons with Bedouin-style bedding or sleeping pads. On trekking and camping trips tents, sleeping pads or mattresses, wash basins, toilet facilities, cooking equipment, lanterns, pack animals and portering gear are provided. Participants must furnish their own clothing, soft-luggage and day pack. Sleeping bags are necessary for some trips, but are usually available for rent. MSITravels reserves the right to substitute equivalent or superior hotels/Riads.

While in Morocco we are pleased to support the wonderful work of Ennajah Association and Chabab Time, two nonprofit organizations. the first one based in Zagora and aims to create sustainable development in community through The Fight Against School Dropouts of girls by providing transportation and providing water for the population …
The second one is based in Rabat but works all over Morocco and aims to motivate young people to actively participate in Public life. We may also pick a local Berber school to donate supplies & small toys, spreading joy in simple ways, and giving a bit back to the local people of the area.
Last but not least, we want you to have the opportunity to give back, to support vulnerable families in meaningful ways. To build authentic connections and know that your visit matters. That when you leave, you’ll take carpets and Argan oil and lanterns and photographs and memories, but you’ll also leave a mark that made a difference.

 

Transportation
We, in Morocco Social Impact Travel « MSITravels », care about our clients and their comfort. Thus, we offer different kind of transportation depending on the number of customers and the tour they’ve chosen. E.g. If the tour is off-road we will offer a 4 wheels drive car for each 4 customers maximum. Otherwise we have 7 seats Minivan, Minibus for 17 travelers and Coach for more than 17 travelers.
