Is 7 days enough for Morocco?
7 days covers the 3 essentials — Marrakech culture, Sahara desert, Fes medina. It's slightly rushed but highly satisfying for first-time visitors. The 10-day version adds Atlas Mountains and Chefchaouen at a more comfortable pace.
Private vehicle and guide from day 1 to day 7. Every element is adjustable to your pace and interests.
Djemaa el-Fna square, medina souks, spice market, Majorelle Garden, and a riad dinner in the old city. Two full days to absorb the most vibrant city in Morocco.
Drive over the Tizi n'Tichka pass through the High Atlas. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou kasbah, then descend into the Draa Valley. Overnight near Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate.
Drive through the fragrant Rose Valley and into the dramatic Dades Gorge — narrow canyon roads with towering walls on both sides, Berber villages perched above the riverbed. Overnight at a gorge-view riad.
Full Draa Valley drive through ancient palm groves to the Sahara. Arrive at Merzouga Erg Chebbi dunes or Erg Chigaga. Sunset camel ride into the dunes, Berber dinner at camp under the stars. Overnight: luxury desert camp.
Wake before sunrise for golden dune light. 4WD through the Ziz Valley, cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, and the European-style Swiss village of Ifrane. Overnight: Fes medina riad.
Full day in Fes with a local medina guide: tanneries at Chouara, Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin university (the world's oldest), artisan cooperatives, and a final medina evening. Departure or overnight extension available.
Air-conditioned 4WD from day 1 to day 7 — no group coaches, no shared transport, no strangers.
The same licensed Moroccan guide for all 7 days — English-speaking, personally vetted by Aziz Sakri.
Authentic boutique riads in Marrakech, the Atlas route, and Fes medina — locally owned, excellent breakfast.
Private tented camp in the Sahara with real beds, en-suite bathroom, sunset camel ride, and Berber dinner.
Fresh Moroccan breakfast at every riad and desert camp — mint tea, msemen bread, olive oil, honey, eggs.
Every monument, museum, and site on the itinerary is pre-paid — no unexpected charges at the gate.
